Elegance in wine, this is the new Reserva Barrique.

Three wines of this "new series", which have already managed to collect a number of awards on the international field, today we officially introduce and put on sale . The thing is that we often enter our wines in prestigious international competitions to verify and confirm their quality.

The wines were aged for 12 months in 225 l French oak barrels and after racking they were aged for more than 24 months. These are wines with huge potential for archiving and will still be at the beginning of their journey at the time of release. The intensity of the oak barrels is very pronounced here, but it's important to us that the wines retain their varietal character and that the aromas and flavours are not just dominated by the notes that Barrique barrels impart to the wines.

As we mentioned, the featured wines have managed to collect a number of awards at international exhibitions, for which we entered all three bottles in advance. Let's take a look at them.

We only produce wines of this series in very limited quantities. For this reason, the quantity you can order from us will be limited to a maximum of 6 pieces per order. It is also because we want to keep some of the wines so that we can keep them with us for as long as possible, confirming what we say about the long-term potential of these elegant wines.

And what is the name of our new range Reserva Barrique?

The legislation says:

A wine may be designated as 'Barrique' if it has been aged for at least three months in an oak barrel of more than 210 litres and less than 250 litres which has not been used for wine-making for more than 36 months. This designation may be supplemented by an indication of the ageing period in months or years.

At the same time

The term "reserve" may be used for wine, with the exception of sparkling wine and sparkling wine, which has been aged for at least 24 months in a wooden cask and then in the bottle, including at least 12 months in cask for red wine and 6 months for white or rosé wine.

We have combined the two definitions into one, as both are perfectly fulfilled, and what is more, we go far beyond the prescribed length of maturation. The length of maturation on the bottle is a very important parameter from our point of view. We can see how the quality of the wine increases day by day as the ageing time increases. The wines in this range have a long-term bottle age potential of 10 years or more. The wines are now in excellent condition and basically just at the beginning of their long journey.
